About CWH Santa Claus School
The Charles W. Howard Santa Claus School, is a non-profit organization, established in 1937. It is the longest continuously running Santa Claus School in the world. Thomas Valent is the present Dean of the internationally recognized Santa School.
The mission of the school is to uphold the traditions and preserve the history of Santa Claus; to provide our students with the necessary resources that allow them to further define and improve their individual presentations of Santa Claus.
Mark your calendars! Set your schedules! It's time to get ready for the 2013 Santa School year! The Santa Claus legend has endured many centuries. The Charles W. Howard Santa Claus School is becoming a legend as it enters this century with its 77th year of classes. We are inspired and impressed by the school's history and the Santa Claus legend.
We come together to share our common love of Christmas and the magical spirit of Santa Claus. The School will be filled with the love, laughter, and learning that has made it the oldest and most famous school of it's kind. We will cover all the traditions and values that began over half a century ago, along with new and updated information to keep us all in good shape, both physically and mentally.
During the Santa School, you will meet Santas and Mrs. Santas from around the world, whom together have over 1000 years of Santa experience. Everyone will contribute stories and suggestions that make up the Santa lore. The knowledge gained and the wonderful people attending will assure lasting memories.
The school will be in session October 17th, 18th and 19th. It will be held at the Santa House in downtown Midland, Michigan on the corner of Isabella and Main Street. We hope you can be a part of our 2012 school year. It wouldn't be the same without you. Class begins at 9:00am on October 17th, 2013.
Come and experience what Christmas dreams are made of!
Believing...Sincerely in Santa,
